Help building a computer

[ojuditho]

I hate to be another needy noob, but...I am. I have a budget of about $1,000 (going a little over won't kill me). I have a monitor, speakers, mouse/keyboard. My general usage concerns are:

• Heavy multi-tasking
• Heavy downloading
• Leaving the computer on for days at a time
• Watching movies
• Lots of internal storage
• As much as I hate to say this...need...*shutter*...Vista OS (or something good that you can recommend)
• Would like to start getting into gaming
• Dual monitors with extended desktop

I greatly appreciate any help anyone can offer.

Thanks and be well--D
