Help building Computer

Im building a new computer and i need help making sure it is compatible. I'm trying to make it under $1,200 and i want to be able to play games like crysis on high

I'm also planning on using Windows Vista 64-bit. This will be my first time making a computer and i would really appreciate the help :D
 
Vista 64 for gaming. Supports more RAM, as well as DX10 cards.

Everything looks compatible above.

I would also go with Newegg.com, as well as one of the new 45nm CPUs like This E8400

They usually come with a stock heat sink and heat sink fan.

Have you thought anymore about the E8400?
 
idk i'm most likely going to go with the 8800 GT but im not sure whether to use Tigersdirect or Neweegg. i like thye equipment on tigers a little better but....
 
also im trying to get everything besides the moniter, optical drives case fans and keyboard/ mouse for under $1000...

E8400, by this i mean the CPU link I sent you on page one of this thread.
