Help building my computer.

Hey guys, I'm brand new to the forums but it seems like a helpfull group. I'll try and provide all the information needed in this post.

I've been building a computer on Newegg.com for a couple weeks now, and I think I'm almost ready to start buying the parts. I'm building a gaming computer and I'd like to spend no more than $1000.00.

First off, I'm looking for any suggestions on different parts (better in some way) or perhaps just cheaper parts.

Secondly, is there anything that isn't compatible? This is my first "Build from scratch" computer, so I'm bound to have missed something. I'd really appreciate the help.

Third, am I missing something completely?

Here's the current specs with links to the corresponding items:

hey, i dont see anything to PM you but here is one i configured. I just dont know the difference between intel and amd, or ati and nvidia and which i should use (comp is strictly for gaming) tell me what u think. the site is vigorgaming.com , comp is the stealth. This is just what i was playing around with, if you want to reconfig with a better suggestion feel free. thanks for the help im just so frustrated with my POS alienware that i want to avoid having an unreliable comp again.

the pm option is show when you click on the username of the person anyho i wouldn't bother buying neither system since they are overcharging you a lot for not so great system

well thats what im here for. i dont know what to get! could you suggest a system around 2000 bucks that would be fast as hell with great graphics? I dont need a monitor, i will be hooking it up to my tv. no speakers, no fancy keyboard or mouse, just a nice gaming comp that will be reliable and efficient. thanks in advance

almost 1800 ( doesn't include shipping), you can add an after market cooler if you want which would be like 50$ more

sorry for the constant questions, 2500 is just alot of money to spend unless i know what im getting, thanks again chupa
