HELP! Can not delete files!

I have a problem with Real Player files which I can not seem to delete. The same file appears in 4 different locations, and in every case I get this popup message when I try to delete it.

"Can not delete "file": Access denied.
Make sure the disk is not full or write protected or that the file is not in use"

It would not bother me so much, but the file appears also in the CD "Ready to Burn" file, and since I can not remove it, it wants to burn that file everytime I want to burn a CD, no matter what other files I want to burn. (I tried "System Restore"s, but still can not get rid of this file in the "Ready to Burn" file.)
Any steps I can take to delete these pesty files? Any suggestions are appreciated.
 
Do you have malwarebytes installed? If so, then use the included utility File assassin to delete it. Click on the moretools tab to access file assassin.
 
Thanks johnb35. Downloaded the program and was successful in removing the file now. Curiously, fileassassin could not locate the file in the 'CD Burn' location, although I entered the correct path. I solved the problem by first relocating it to 'My Documents', then deleting it.
Anyway, my CD Burn file is now empty, and that was what I was after.
Will keep the malware programs handy from now on, just in case.
