Hey Everyone,
My computer is in dire need of a gfx card upgrade, i'm still using integrated graphics and I can barely run any games :o . I was wondering if you guys could recommend anything. I'm running Windows have PCI Express slots and i'm willing to spend in between $150-$200.

Thanks

Thanks, also will these cards come with any kind of instructions? This will be the first time I will ever be installing a video card. The only thing i've ever really added to my computer is RAM hehe. Will I be able to install it myself?

its not hard installing...usually they do come with a simple instruction...but its basically push into the slot, install the drivers, and you're good

That's actually the exact card I was thinking of, found it a few days ago and definitely beats the 7800 GTX which is the same price.

agreed, thats the card you ought to get. its perfect for a DX9 card, it wont play DX10 on highest settings once it comes out though. personally id wait.

What is the release date of DX10 and will I need any tools that wouldn't be in an everday household that I will need to buy?

DX10 video cards are out, but you really wont be able to play DX 10 games until later January. You also need Windows Vista for that.

All you need to do to install a video card is a screwdriver at most (to secure it to the case).
