Help! Computer Crashes!

ok.......having big PC problems now! now its the 5th time......and i dunno what to do! Its not a virus, i check with Avast v4.7
i was not overworking it, just doing simple stuff with it. not sure if it is overheating (might be an option, since speedfan was not on, and the fans were low) My CPU is a P4 Prescott, so temps ar enormal high.....But right now, it freezes, even in safemode.
PLease! Some one help! don<t wan to send it to the company.....gonna take a month, and i will loose all my Hdd!

EDIT: I'm no longer in Safe mode...(right now)

ok, well, no one answer, but PC is ok.....after i posted i went and check windows updates! man, downlaoded 40 MB of them! lol ......My bad,
Anyway, PC is working fine....very happy.
