Ok i just got call of duty 4 and crysis. I have a crappy video card pny 8500gt 512mb. mobo is a evga 650i running a core2 duo 2.33. 4gigs or ram running xp pro SP1. games play fine on low settings. about ten minutes into the games i get the blue death screen, memory dump ect. says "windows had to be shut down to prevent damage to computer ect". also says some things about video drivers, as well as some things about bios memory settings. shadowing and mirroring or somthing. Anyone have any ideas?

Make sure the fan is spinning and is connected, make sure it is seated properly in the PCI-E slot. Make sure you have proper voltage from you connector you have attached to the VGA. Just a few suggestions....

More details would be appreciated..

Also make sure you have a sufficient PSU.

You can give us more info by disabling automatic restart on BSOD, then record the module that is in error, that will tell us what is happening. It is likely to be the nVidia driver.
