So for some reason when ever I play a video game, every 10-30 minutes the game will either just close, or my computer will go to blue skreen and turn off.

And most the time when it turns off and I turn it back on, it beeps and it says looking for bios recovery cd and beeps.

and I have to turn it on and off over and over again till it starts up properly.

HALP!

Also the first time it ever did it was rite after a windows update it crashed, it has been doing this ever since on video games only.

It is a custom built pc thats a few years old now, not sure what the mother board is, amd prossessor, ati x850 video card.

This is what I am working with.

Step one: go to walmart and get a can of compressed air (or charge up your compressor)

Step two: Clean out all the dust.

As for the temperature look at your bios.

Or download a program called coretemp, it will tell you the temps of your system. http://www.thecoolest.zerobrains.com/CoreTemp/

Man your system if filthy! All that dust can cause heat problems. But I have seen worse than yours.

Also your cables need to be cleaned up, re routed so that you have better air flow.

From the description of your problem, it really sounds like a heat problem. But since you said you had just installed some updates. It could be a driver conflict. Try updating your video card drivers.

When it's running does the fan on your cpu spin?
And does it say cpu temperature or just core?
