HELP: Computer wont boot

Ok, so i have an Antec 902 case, it has the front USB ports on it. i was pulling out my headphones and it pulled out part of the USB drive. The computer instantly shutdown and that was that.

So when i went to go and turn on the computer, it wont load past the boot screen, i tried pushing some of the function keys for express recovery, but it would not work, it seemed to be completely frozen. I pulled out the power cord for the the front USB's on the Motherboard, still no fix.

Can anyone help me in this matter?

You have errors on the hard drive now. You will need to download and run the hard drive makers disk diagnostic utility and run it. What brand of hard drive is it?
 
hey johnb35 thanks for your comment. its a 1TB Western digital, will i be able to do that even if it wont go past the bios screen

If you unplug the hard drive and it continues to boot but gives the error about insert boot media then the drive may be toast now.

If it gets to the windows splash screen and then freezes, the drive should still be good.

You will need to download this and burn the iso image to a cd and then boot to the cd.

it still wont go past the screen (which says at the bottom <DEL>: BIOS Setup <F9> :Xpressrecovery2 <F12 :Boot Menu etc...
 
In that case, remove power from the power supply, remove the cmos battery, press the power button on the case a few times then wait a minute. Unplug the front usb connections to the motherboard then reconnect power and reinsert battery and try booting up. It it still won't bootup, you seem to have blown your motherboard.

I hope not lol. thanks for your help i will try that, this is where the boot stops btw

I'm glad its back up and running for you. I'd be leary about adding the usb connections to the motherboard. May want to change to a different case.
