HelP! Computer Wont Shut Down!

Hey I installed windows 7 and love it, thing is everytime i click shut down or restart, it stays saying Shut Down forevrr and sometimes itll Blue Screen and restart but only after a long while. If it helps the blue screen told me Bugcode_usb_driver and at one point it blue screened and said Power_State_Driver_Failure (not sure how many underscores but you get what its trying to say i hope). It doesnt do this with XP but i really like Windows 7 and dont want to go back to xp at all. Can anyone helop me out ??

PS: Same Problem On Vista Too:(
 
Try uninstalling all USB devices in device manager. hubs and all. (those will automatically reinstall when you restart) Check your BIOS for any power-related options, and make sure they are set correctly. if it doubt set optimised defaults.
 
ok right i did that and uninstalled all of them and wooop! it worked. now how do i find out which one is the culprit and how do i get it to not reinstall itself next startup ?? does it mean going through everyone of them and testing them ? cus there are rather alot of them :/
