Hi friends,

I am working as a system admin. We have two branches with 10km distance. So my managers told me to connect two

networks together using vpn concept.
We are using netgear switch, in the switch we connect all the systems.

I think i need to disable DHCP in one network and that network IP can give by the another Network using VPN

concept.

So please can anyone help me to connect two networks.
Thanks for Advance.

you need 2 vpn firewalls... setup a vpn between the 2 using those... you cant do it with a switch. you dont need to disable DHCP.

one network can be 192.168.100.0/24 and the other can be 192.168.200.0/24 and just add routes in your router for that and establish the VPN through your vpn firewalls/routers

good day sir!sorry for drop down here but i have similar problem too, i am an IT Tech support in our company. we have been planning to establish a VPN network between our main office and our branch i think 50Km, is that possible sir we can establish a better connectivity through VPN?and do you mean not to disable DHCP?my senior TEch say we need a static connection so that we can connect the two offices and in that we have to contact our ISP. weve to used 2 Dlink VPN sir glad to hear your suggestion, sorry we have just starting this project so i need more idea about this one,tnx in advance
