Help connecting laptop to TV

First off, I apologize if this is in the wrong section, mods, feel free to m,ove it to the right place if necessary.

So I have a laptop, the only display output it has is VGA (15 pin one), and my TV has HDMI, SCART, composite, and the red white and yellow cables. What are my options for displaying my lappy screen on the TV?

VGA to HDMI is not going to work unless you get a converter as the VGA is an analog signal and HDMI is digital. These converters have analog to digital converters in them and could be expensive.

You should be able to get a VGA - Scart adaptor that will work.

Hey chris, thanks for the reply.
Well I've looked online and the only converters are scart to VGA, reviews show that it does not work the other way...
