[Help] CPU cooler makes weird sounds

Beforu you ask, my CPU cooler is the stock C2D E8400.

What kind of weird sounds? Clicks, hums, or what?

I've cleaned it and applied new thermal paste and it works now without problems

You probably had dust hitting against one of the fan blades.
