Hey,
New to computer upgrades and so forth, just wondered would it possible/is it worth it for me to upgrade my processor?

I've done a little reading up, but I'm not sure which processor would be compatible, so if possible, any suggestions as to which one?

Thanks.

Short answer: it looks like you can use essentially any LGA 775 CPU. If you want something really nice but not crazy expensive, you could get a Core 2 Quad Q8xxx CPU. They're cheaper than the Q9xxx series yet still quite powerful. There's no guarantee that your current heatsink will cool a Core 2 Quad well enough, but in my experience Dell heatsinks are usually very good.
