help decide new laptop

I would personally go with the mac, but it all depends on what you do. If you are into multimedia editing then go with mac, and go with the pc if you are more into gaming and don't really do any multimedia editing.
The macbook can dual boot with xp, but since it costs more money it wont be worth it if all you do is gaming.
 
i dont really mind the money...i heard macs are way more reliable and have alot better batt life, if thats true im down to spend more...

you think the mac will handle games ok?

if you think it will and it is reliable/good video life ill go with it
 
Yeah, macs are awesome :D

Macs don't play window's games natively so you will probably have to dual boot osx with windows. I know there are ways to get windows games to run on macs without installing windows but idk how.
 
Yeah, installing windows is easy. There are a lot of howtos on the web if you need help. And once you have it installed it will run games just fine.
 
definitly. I really don't like microsoft products. I love apples because they where designed to "just work" and work very efficiently. Apple keeps the users in mind when creating there software :)

another thing about the Thinkpads is that they are Bussiness class laptops. they are built for durability. ya they aren't the most flashy looking laptop. but thats not what they're built for. unlike my HP dv9500.

you can even spill liquids on the keyboard as its sealed of some sort :)

You know how pc uses windows well macs operating system is called os x
(os 10) and the new os comes out on the 26th of october which will be os x 10.5 leopard.
It's like when windows vista came out except it's for mac
 
well is it going to be good....becuase from what i hear vista is nothing but trouble....

is the mac version going to be better or worst has anyone heard anything
