Hi, I am an online-gamer and have moved in with my partners kids. Currently have a (Bigpond) Technicolour TG587n V3 Modem, so researching for new (better) Modem / Router.
I have two specific requirements:
- When gaming, I don't want to kick the kids offline, just slow them down priority wise. QOS specific to my computer mac-address, or application.
- One of the kids will also require a time-based Internet lockout on the Ipad, Ipods Laptop etc. So this also needs to be device specific.
Doing the research I have found some great interfaces for each of these requirements, but frustratingly, not in the same modem. I am getting a bit over reading manuals, and hoping somebody here with some experience could help me out.
I don't mind spending a few dollars ($2-400) if required, though would prefer not to go too hard.
