HELP!! Gateway ZH7

My mom uses my netbook for streaming for at least a few hours everyday, and this has been going on for about 8 or 9 months, and recently the netbook would sometimes just shut off by itself. Today I was unable to turn it on. Are there anything I should be checking for?

that will not help.

ok, when it shuts down, it is most likely a heat issue. First thing I would do is install speedfan, speccy or coretemp and monitor the temps, and if it goes above about ~60 or so, then you have a overheating issue.

Next thing, download memtest and burn it to a CD or install to a flashkey with YUMI, then boot to it and run it overnight. This will test the cache and RAM and show you any issues that you may have here.
