Help! Gateway ZX4970G-UW308 All-In-One

Just got a Gateway ZX4970G-UW308 All-In-One. Got it home and got it all setup. Only to find out there is no adjustment for the brightness and the screen is just too bright! I contacted Gateway via online chat and they told me there was no adjustment for this. I have never heard of such. Anyone know why it would not have a brightness control? It is a LED monitor, could this be why? Is there a way around this? Any help or input greatly appreciated. Thanks.
 
Only laptops will have that setting... Sounds like your (unfortunatley) SOL if the manufacturer wont support you.
Thats kind of a crazy thing to be missing, I don't care for all-in-ones, but in all my experience repairing them i've never even checked for that setting.
You could try a tinted privacy screen, they're like a screen protector that goes overtop of the entire lcd panel. It should reduce glare and dim the light output
 
Yes I thought of that as well. However I am considering taking it back. I do really want a all-in-one for the space saving and all. But surely this is not common on all-in-one's. Anyone else know?
