HELP!!!! going crazy

hey guys not to sure what to do anymore when i open up any browser, ie ff or chrome i get the same effect cpu goes crazy on the navigator and when i view streamed videos its choppy all the time and my cpu is at 99% on the navigator
in ie i took off smooth scrolling as well


ive ran malowarebytes, hijack this, superantispyware,spybot,adaware,ccleaner,defraggler and eset

not to sure what else to do computer deffinately doesnt have any infections i made sure of that i took them all out lol plus i did a defrag


as well i changed videocards and dusted the pc clean

its an amd athalon 996 with 768 ram videocard is ati rage 2000 pro

updated java updated video driver update flash and updated shockwave

running xp sp3 what should i do now? any suggestions?

Your virus scanners have defiantly missed something, run AVG, it is the best out there, or perhaps you have ruined part of you computer, if AVG fails to find something, I recommend format and re-install windows. (even if you on mac)
 
your saying this is a possible infection? ive done almost every scan known to man kind doing the avg spyware scan now then will do av scan we'll see what happens
 
How about posting your hijack this report in the security section before listening to awildgooses suggestion, I doubt you will need a clean install.

k i dont understand whats wrong anymore i just reformatted the computer swapped the videocard and still choppy streaming updated driver updated flash jave and shockwave dont know what else it can be? processor maybe? if im not mistaken processor is amd 9600 with 768 ram dont know why its still chopping?

Go look at your post, most of that is bad advice, especially if we don't even know what is wrong. AVG is not the best AV, You suggested a reformat without so much as a HJT log, you suggested a reformat on the very first post, diagnostics are part of the solution even if the solution ends up being a reformat.
 
To be fair, he did suggest a virus scan first, not a re-format.

I just hope all Posters understand to listen to all feedback
before doing anything, in order to get the most helpful advice.
 
can we not hijack this post and see if you guys can help me out please if not pm each other still dont know which test to do to figure out what hardware is the issue any suggestions....reformatted with latest drivers flash shockwave and java still choppy any help on what diag tools to use to figure out what hardware is malfunctioning
