Help Grading My Build!!!

I was going to upgrade to the Phenom over christmas (was really disappointed with the performance). Going to wait till the Intels 45nm quads come out for the price point, and see where I go from there. Been building AMD for years but the Phenom is a dog, I dont think any of the 65nm Phenoms no matter what new stepping comes out will perform much better. The Phenom might come into it own when they drop to 45nm with improvements but thats not now!

First, the Caviar RE is 1000 times better than the Caviar SE.

Second, MSI boards are garbage.

Third, avoid AMD period if you're looking at a performance rig. Look at the E8400

Why u are saying MSI board are garbage? any bad experience? i think they are OK.

There a average board, I havent had much luck with them either. There Video cards are good though. I would stick with Gigabyte-Asus or DFI

I myself like MSI boards used em in all my builds but thats just my look at it.
I'll be another one to say this I have that cpu, I've always been an AMD/ATI fan.
But right now intel is the better company AMD was in its prime at times but right now price/performance/speed are in intel's hands.
Another thing is I would also agree with others on saying get an 3850 instead of a 8600.

In my opinion, MSI is a smaller but quality company. I have one or two of their products, and they work flawlessly. Although a small and maybe not so well known as Gigabyte or other large companies, they manufacture quality products and items.
