HELP HDD broke

ok i got a 320 gb hdd in my laptop and my idiot borther had a magent and you know what Hdd + magnet = Dead HDD so its gone magnitized
now when i turn on the laptop it says :
Disk read error
press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart

now if i cant get it fixed within 5 days im DEAD (i need it for uni) so is there anyway to DE- magnitize it

stick it as a slave drive and buy a new hard drive?

idk if it works with them even after the magnet lol. If it does make sure to match the size 2.5" or 3.5". You can get that at a local computer store along with a new hard drive.

Aside from some VERY expensive data recovery options, there isn't much you can do to salvage whatever you had on the hard drive. Assuming that it's still functional, though, you should be able to reinstall Windows, but all of the data that you had on there before is pretty much toast.
