Help, how do i connect pc to tv

I have comcast with hd channels. I intend to connect the cable line to the comcast box, then the comcast to my pc with a cable line, and a tv tuner, then connect the pc to my tv from my video card DVI to HDMI. Is this the right idea,or is this way off.

Hauppage Win TV HVR-1250 ATSC pci express HDTV capture card
Vista ulitmate

Are these parts sufficient? I am concerned about how to incorporate the tv and the comcast box, if my idea how to set it up is correct? Thanks for any help, ive never done this and am very excited.
 
I fogot, since hdmi takes care of audio, does it mean i will be unable to use my sound blaster sound card and have to use the onboard sound card?
