help i did something dumb

i attemped to overclock my newly installed amd fx55 and must have done something wrong.... i hit f10 to exit and save the settings and now i get nothing... no screen , no beeps , sounds , no keyboard lights or mouse . it just runs but does nothing . what can i do to put the cpu back to the way it was? p.s. it was working fine until i decided to be brave.
 
Pop out the little battery (CMOS battery) on the motherboard for about 5 minutes just to make sure it clears and put it back in and try turning on you computer. :)

Or the easiest way is to reset the CMOS jumper... takes about 10 seconds.

Refer to your mobo manual or look for a jumper next to the CMOS battery.
 
you might have burned out your proc, if you did then there is nothing that you can do, thats not covered under warrenty.
 
you know whats odd though... i put in the procssor that i was using before and i still got nothing? wtf?
