Help - i dont have a graphics card driver and cant see anything

Hi,

My graphics card had been causing my computer to freeze for a week or so, so..... i tried to rollback the driver, this wouldnt happen, so foolishly i uninstalled it thinking i could re install. However when i restarted the screen would flick on for less than half a second then off for between 1sec and 1min.

So basically i can use that computer now, its doesnt have on board graphics so right now im a bit stuck. I even have to log in blind at the moment!

any help would be great!

did you try re-installing the latest ATI Drivers from www.ati.com?

i would but i cant see the screen for long enough to do anything

Do you have another computer in the house? And are you running XP Pro?

i do have another computer. the broken computer is running media centre and this one is pro.

I sense a plan coming!

answer: click F8 before the computer boots and boot in VGA mode
