The other day I was messing around in regedit (I know very bad idea, ive learned my lesson). I messed up something and know when my computer starts up it uses the old style of windows startup where it asks for username and password even though I'm the only user. When i start task manager it also uses the old format. The only real problem ive had was that in my yahoo messenger none of the words show up. It says I have received a message and a window pops up but there aren't any words.... If anyone knows the solution to this problem I would be deeply greatful for advice. Thanks.
Edit 1:All I remember is going into current user---system---microsoft.
But I couldve very easily accidentally gone somewhere else...
Edit 2: I tried system restore but when i open it it's just a blank white window
