Not sure about the Optical drive thing, I mean is there a optical drive that works on blu-ray and DVD both at one optical drive?

SSD and HDD? SSD for Windows 7 only? and the rest of my games/programs/video on HDD?

Yes, Blu-ray drives will also play DVDs.

If the SSD is just for Windows 7, then you can get a cheap 40GB one. Having more capacity will allow you to put some games or commonly used applications on it.

Ok I'm DONE, Now ONE LAST review before I buy them, what do you guys think, is it all compatible? are they good? is there anything I'm missing?

It would help if you posted Internet links to all the parts you plan on purchasing. Are you really going to buy 8 gigabytes of DDR3 RAM? 4 gigabytes of memory is more than enough for most systems.

I noticed you are not purchasing a Windows installation disk. Do you have one already?

OK, Added the links, and btw I can only buy from amazon. I am not a U.S. Citizen nor I live in U.S. and I have a Windows 7 Installation disk already.

There are people complaining about failing Samsung Spinpoint hard drives because Amazon is packaging them incorrectly. You may want to think about buying a hard drive from Amazon and consider another source for a hard drive if people are complaining.

Other than the lack of an operating system and only needing 4 gigabytes of RAM I think the parts are a decent choice.
