Help installing a new video card please.

Okay, I'm sure this has been covered numerous times and sorry ahead of time in case this upsets you all.

I'm about to go pick up a new video card from Best buy, probably an ATI of some sort. What will I have to do to install it? I know to ground myself, any specific place to clamp it?

About installation, Uninstall old drivers through add/remove programs (currently my comp uses mobo memory, will I still need to uninstall the display driver?) I just slide the card into the AGP slot. then turn the comp on and install the drivers? Is that all I have to do? Please help. :(

if this refers to an onboard graphics card you will have to disable that to either in bios or via a jumper on your mobo depending on what you have. :)

Most mobos/bioses dont have the option of disabling AFAIK, they disable automatically when a vid card is added
