Help installing memory on MOBO

I need to install 2 sticks of 2GB each DDR3 memory in this motherboard...

I'm wondering what slots to install in....It appears that You put the first one in the 1st slot, then the 2nd one in the 3rd slot......

Or do you put them next to each other.....

Or, does it not matter

Put them in the blue slots for dual channel

dual channel ram slots are usually color coded with same color, so use same color slots, and usually it shows you (on the mobo written in tiny letters).

for example 2 yellow slot and 2 black slot together it'll show slot 1, slot 2, slot 3, slot 4

or yellow then black, then yellow again and another black again it'll show Slot 1, slot 3, slot 2, slot 4.
