I took my HDD and Rom drives outta my computer and I was going to put it in my Grandma's computer and just buy a new hard drive for my computer. But I heard that my hard drive would not work in my grandmas computer so I attempted to put the hard drive back into my computer, and it doesnt read any of my drives at all, no matter what I do, i've my cd rom set up as slave and my hard drive doesnt tell me where slave and master is but i've tried every which way possible and it will just not read anything...i guess i should have payed attention on how everything was set up before i took it apart...so any suggestions?, I'm really new at this.

any chance you plugged the hdd into the plug thta was used for the cd-rom before? could cause problems if they got switched
