help/internet connection problems

my other computer wont connect to internet.
it started after i downloaded a program called panda antivirus,i dont know if that was the cause.
ive uninstalled it and tried resetting the cable modem. ,still wont work

panda is good though, but I think that might be the cause, as I had spent good time on someone's laptop with panda, and couldnt get internet connection on it.
