If the link doesn't work, right click on it and click on open in new tab/window. It worked for me.

Link doesn't seem to work.

Works on a mobile device :P

OP: That laptop will work extremely well. It's got a strong i7 processor and GPU.

As always, we'd recommend a desktop computer as it'll be more powerful, but portability is an issue.

You won't see any major quality settings while gaming but it'll be decent for a compact platform.

You will be able to play games on that laptop but probably at very low settings. If you want to game on a laptop I would specifically get a gaming laptop. There are plenty of good brands out there to choose from.

The Alienware that I have(specs are in my sig) plays games very decently and most of them maxed out or close to it. But keep in mind that the price is going to be more expensive too.

The computer linked technically is an Alienware, but without the fancy case. Dell makes Alienware laptops and if you look at the specs this laptop should perform at the same level if not better.

Price doesn't always relate to performance.

The graphics card in mine is the 765m. He will be able to play games on that laptop but not at the highest settings. I cant play on the highest settings of every game on my laptop but I bought it knowing that in the first place.

I cant find any benchmarks on that particular graphics card only on the r7 m260. It does look like that card is better but the resolution hes running at 4K he will not be able to play a lot of games at that resolution.

That laptop does have a better screen and a faster processor but I bought this laptop in 2013 so I expect that. He wont be able to play alot of games at that resolution in the first place I cant play some of mine in 1920x1080.

That laptop is not meant for heavy gaming.

And yeah I know dell makes alienware laptops since I bought mine with my dell preferred account.
