I intend to use this laptop on the go. I have a desktop at home I can snyc with. I intend to use it for writing papers and updating a website.

Its a good laptop...only 16mb gfx and 1ghz processor which is ok but not excellent.:)

the price is a bit on the high side for what cpu and g card u get with it but overall a good laptop i would look around tho a bit longer c if u can find anything else good for a more respectable price u never no u might find the one for all your needs

It's good but I'd shop around. One thing to note about the Crusoe Processor is that it is not an x86 compatible processor. It emulates the x86 instruction set on the fly. This makes them cheaper however it also makes them slower. I'd shop around for an AMD or Intel system. For a little more (about $2400) I configured this (http://www.acompinc.com/ppf/iid/204314/smoreinfo.asp) almost fully loaded and it would be much faster with an AMD Athlon 64 3400+ processor.
