HELP keyboard problems !!

since i reformatted my pc the key board is set in American format with is a real pane since i have a UK keyboard (eg when i press shift +2 i get the @ symbol not the " symbol there are also some charters that are completely missing such as the tide symbol which i get an | instead of )
i cant figure out how to make it go back to UK settings

any ideas welcome thanx
 
Go into the Control Panel and then look for a shortcut called Keyboard and see if there is an option to turn it back to UK settings. Otherwise you can download the drivers for your keyboard and maybe that will work.
