Help me build a computer!

Alright guys. Here's what I am trying to do.

I know how to build a computer, but I haven't been up to date on the parts/brands etc.

I'm looking to spend around $1,200 for a decent gaming PC.

The $1,200 includes a wireless card, 23 inch monitor, Windows 7 price, mouse, and keyboard, as well as the system itself. The Windows 7 price is $100 that I will be buying.

i have just done a similar build, your cpu is the best in its range, although the motherboard is no good, according to custom pc mag, they rate the asus p8p67 is the best board for 2500k

I have an AMD build with the X6BE processor. It is a little cheaper, but will it still offer comparable performance?
