Help me build a gaming computer for 2k!

I've been thinking it's time to build a new gaming computer.
My last one was 3 years ago, so i'm not up to date with all the new computer parts.

Can you guys help me build a new computer with all the bells and whistles.
Including monitor, kb and mouse. for around $2000 AUD (Aussie dollars).

I want the best gaming comp you can build with that budget

ahh nice another MSY customer, ummmm simply what chipset are you after AMD or Intel? im not really the best at custom parts but im just starting the basics for others.
