This is the one another that 31!m!n80r said was better due to more PCI slots but No onboard video card(?): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131706 which costs about $15 more.

I have about $100 dollars left over if I were to be using the first linked mother board and no video card. I'm not looking to have the best of the best...but just a well-rounded mother board and video card. I'm willing to spend a tiny bit more than $100 if it's substantially better.

Is there any compatibility issues with Micro ATX motherboards and regular ATX PC components that will be installed?

mATX and ATX mb's use the same components. The difference may be in the configuration of the slots vs your components.


I think AMD would be a better $800 solution.
Where graphics performance is concerned, if you get something in the ob HD4XXX range you'll be able to do things like Photoshop, HD movies/content, blue ray, 2 monitors, and your stated use. It doesn't have DX11 if that's a concern. Beyond the HD 4xxx series you could get a 5670 or nVidia card to support DX11 and eyefinity. Either way, AMD is the best bet here IMO.

I could use a double and triple check of my pc I'm about to build before I hit the "Send Payment" button on this website to make sure all 8 components are completely absolutely positively without a doubt all compatible with each other. So when they arrive...without a shadow of a doubt they will all fit with each other and be able to get installed to create a **working** PC.
