Help me choose a new spec...

Hi, I have built computers before now and know what to do.

Firstly, i'm not a gamer. Never have been and don't intend to be. Football manager is the height of it.

I would like to build a new pc with a budget of £300-£400

I live in the UK (Liverpool) at the minute so I will be purchasing from the UK.

Who would like to help me decide on a new PC. I could save on a case if necessary although I would like new parts. I could save on a DVD/CD Drive also but again I would probably like new parts.

Anyway, who fancies picking out a system for me.

I am knowledgeable in this area but I am still learning the ins and outs of the processing powers and the best technologies available for the money.

Go... (I'll try and piece a system together and see what you think too)

I forgot to say, I do not need an operating system. I have a version of windows 7 I can use. I don't like windows 8. Thanks for your list. I will look at it now in detail!

Thanks

I also have a monitor and I was intending to maybe connect it to my 32" full HD TV... now I know you will suggest getting a graphics card for this... Which would be a good graphics card for £30 odd?

You aren't gaming so you don't really need a graphics card. The processor has one built in.

Yeah I comprehend that. thanks. They only reason I asked was in case there was one which would boost performance or be better quality than one built in the processor (for connecting to the TV)

The one built in will get the job done. No worrys. You could get a better processor like a i5 3570 that is faster and has a better GPU in it.

Assuming you have case can take standard ATX. And reuse DVD drive
