I'm building my rig mostly for gaming.... Plan on doing some overclocking, but nothing extreme.

the gigabyte board, end of story. I use that one and I cant stop talking about how awesome it is. BEST BOARD EVER! well except for the rampage III but thats ridiculous

I'd go Gigabyte, too, but with the Asus, you could build a nice compact build.

gigabyte...hands down, i was considering going to i7 as a idea, and thats the board i was looking at each time, however its just too expensive for me to warrant doing that....SLI royalties...meh
