Help me choose motherboard

I had a hp pavilion p6310y computer with Athlon quad core 630 processor. I had a surge that destroyed my board so its in need of replacement. I will need a new board and processor.Can anyone help me with choosing a good board for speed and gaming mostly that will fit in hp case. thanks in advance
 
If you're gonna build another machine, buy a case. Don't use a POS OEM case.
 
I wanted to use my 1tb hard drive in old computer and dvd burner/player that's why I figured use old case but that's why m here asking questions. MOney wise doesn't matter just wanted a good mother board with hdmi and gaming processor.thanks

You can pull those out and use them in another PC.
