Help Me Choose

Okay, I normally don't ask for help with components, but I can't decide what I want to get. My 6870 is annoying me with the driver crashes due to overheats, so I want to move up. I'm looking at two cards at the moment:

Sapphire 6950

I know the 6950 comes with game codes, but I already have both those games and will end up just selling them, so that's not a buying point.

Or spend a little more and get a card that blows it away

EVGA GTX570

I play a wide variety of games from new to old. Highest demanding games I have are most likely Sniper Elite V2, Battlefield 3, GTA IV.

Give me pros and cons for both and try to convince me.

One consideration I had, but I don't need to be a folding beast.
Since the 570 beats the 6950 you can have the best of both worlds.
I bought my 460 mainly for folding (dual monitor 2nd reason) since I'm not a gamer, but it also makes my old HP a real sleeper for when my nephew shows up and says he'd rather game on his laptop instead of my ancient P4 computer... :D

EDIT: Forgot to add that the 570 has a LIFETIME warranty.

You don't consider to go crossfire and take another hd6870?
They are beating the 570 in most times. But if you got more then 1 monitor, don't do it because of memory.
I got crossfire 6870 and my fps on bf3 ultra is avg:70
If you got overheat problems, take one with dualfan and use it as primary card. ( first card gets always hotter)

I'm looking to ditch my 6870 because the fan doesn't know to kick on unless I tell it to, which I'm getting sick of. I don't have the PSU to crossfire, so I'd be paying for a card AND a PSU, and that's just a waste. I'd be paying the same amount for a single card. I'd rather just have a powerful single card.
