let say that all four of them cost roughly the same, can you help me rank the cards in order in which i should consider buying. I am leaning more to ati cards as i want to try eyefinity

From the benchmarks I've seen, the 6970 and GTX570 are more or less neck and neck. The 570 seems to have a slight edge, so I'd imagine that only becomes more pronounced on the 6950. I would take a single card over a CF/SLI build if they're similarly priced. I don't think anyone should jump straight in to a dual card build (Unless you're looking at getting the absolute top tier stuff, but that's different.) The performance gains are nice, but you can always throw in another higher end card down the line too, which I think should be the purpose. You also need to consider the increased heat and power draw for a dual card set up, not to mention poor scaling and driver issues in some cases. I'd get the 570 myself, then get another one when you find that lacking. If you're set on Eyefinity, get the 6970, which seem to be floating around for only slightly more than a 570.

for the question, ill go for the 570 myself(out of the four provided) but thats just me.

I'm in Canada and I can find GTX570s about the $350 mark. Where are you shopping and in what currency? Because if you're in North America, you're getting ripped off.

Don't get a Palit. Mine was a problem from day 1. Their support is laughable as well. You have to go to the place of purchase for support. Good luck if they cease trading or claim it isn't faulty.

The toxic is likely factory overclocked and has a better cooling solution. You should browse around online to see if you can find an online retailer. You're likely paying a local premium simply because running a local store is so much more costly than an online one in comparison to the market available. Where I live, there are places like Staples, which are quite large chains, selling things like gts250's for over $200.
However if online is simply not an option, I'd go with the Palit. They may have terrible customer support, but there's nothing wrong with their cards. Make sure you check in on the local warranty though, so if its a bad card from the start you'll at least be able to bring it back to the retailer.

The Toxic is pre-overclocked so it's faster, though you can overclock a normal 6850 too.

assuming you are not limited to cf or sli i would choose the 570, as mentioned it is slightly faster and you can add another one in later and have a great system and in the meantime the 570 will handle all you need for now.

Not always true at all. I've had plenty of superclocked cards that didn't clock as well as standard cards.
OP- one stronger card is typically better for eyefinity, and a 6970 should do 5760x1080 quite easily if you are using three 1080p monitors as I actually gamed with that resolution on a overclocked 5830 at one point and got about 50 FPS average (no AA or AF though).
