Should I buy this ?

my friend experiences like a 20-30 fps increase compared to my radeon hd 6950 (he has the card above) but he also has a i7 2600k
and I have a amd vishera 8350

will I see possibly the same fps increase?

The cards are quite similar but it depends what you're playing. Take a look at this:

What PSU/case do you have ?

Your CPU shouldn't bottleneck games I don't think.

I'd suggest you go for the 7950 if you want some future proofing. Your case will house it and your PSU is fine. Up to you which brand you choose - they come with different things which may or may not be of value to you (eg HDMI converters, free games)
