Help Me Decide

Hi,
I would recommend this laptop since I prefer asus over hp and acer and it's priced fairly low with the current rebate ($1199 regular but it's now at $939 after rebate + mail-in rebate). It has about the same specs you're looking for but with an even better video card and an 8-cell battery which should provide better battery life + asus should give you better quality. Also, the hard drive has a faster RPM rate so it should provide you a slightly better system performance over the two others. Keyboard is also illuminated and the display is full 1080p hd. If you don't like my recommendation, I would go for the hp since it has better specs than the acer.

Thank you for replying.

I looked over the reviews for that laptop and there were numerous people complaining about the power button not working and receiving defective unit. Sadly, ASUS let that one slip through the crack or else I would have no problem getting that.

I went ahead and got the HP. I was able to find one much cheaper somewhere else. Hopefully I made the right choice.
 
I hope it is a great laptop for you, Hp typically are not from the time I have been on this forum, we see more complaints and hardware failures then I have seen in any other brand.
