hello guys,
i will be doing a lot of video conversions and editing and compression. i do some lite gaming as well. not those new games that requires a massive gpu. i play those small games like counter strike source which is probably the highest demand of gpu on my list.
most importantly i need a hdmi port and planning to stream to an 1080p hdtv for hours at a time without the gpu heating up (mainly for watching movies and some lite gaming). my friend told me his laptop shut down on him few times due to long streaming time & and gaming.
my question is when streaming to an 1080p hdtv does the resolution on the laptop have to be 1080p too to keep image quality? and does the length time of streaming to the hdtv affect the gpu at all?
im looking to get an asus laptop only and on budget.
thanks!
