help me fit my heatsink in place properly?

Hi i got this cpu and the heatsink has two clips to secure it in place and I don't know the trick if there is one to make it fit how do I do it? any help please its driving me crazy............................

its a amd copper heatsink with the 2 clips on the side if i fit one on either side then the other side wont fit in

even google isnt helping me :(
 
Look on the black tab coming out of one of the sides. It should say one way is open and the other way is close. Put it as open. If it doesn't say, open is when the clip is allowed to slide up and down. Put the other end in the slot and put the other side with the black tab in also. Make sure its on open. it will require a little force, but it shouldn't break it or anything. Once its in, turn the black tab to close.

Before you do any of this, make sure there's thermal paste on the heatsink also.
