Help me for digital camera Installation

hi,
I have got Medion MD 7467 digital camerA....I'm trying to install it on my laptop....I've got USB port on my laptop and usb cable as well....I can connect my camera into Laptop with the help of Usb cable...but I really don't have any idea...what to do...
pliz help me to get it done.....

Windows might recognize it as a USB Mass Storage device. If so, just go to My Computer and click on the new drive that has been added to the list of drives.

I have just installed this software but I cannot find any new device on my laptop....there is a software called 3200 camera...it has many buttons like Camera, video, picture etc....
I think i have to install my usb driver also or what else?

plizx help me
 
I have only hooked my camera to computer once, and that was only to input my name/camera name into the software program. Other than that, I always use a card reader to download pics from the camera.

Does it recognize it or anything? Or does it not recongize it at all? If so, and you are sure u dont have ur USB driver installed.. then you should find it..

Most likely, it'll work and your usb would already be installed.. to find this out... do you have any other usb devices that work? Like a mouse or something else..

During the installation of the program.. were there any pop ups or anything telling you to plug the device in or anything.. did u install the driver first, then plug in ur camera.. or plug in your camera first.. then install the driver.

I think I don't have to install any drivers incase of XP pro....coz my OS is XP Pro.

Do you even understand what you, yourself is talking about? Or even what your problem is?

After intalling the program, you said " I think i have to install my usb driver also or what else?"

If you didn't need to install any driver, it would work flawlessly.

So again,

Did you even try running the program you said called "3200 camera"

My problem is very simple....

I have got:

Laptop with Xp pro OS
Medion Digital Camera MD 7467
Laptop and Camera both have USB port.( usb cable also)

I want to download all pictures from my camera to laptop...
When I connect it there is no any effect.
I can't find any message, new device on My computer, pop up etc.

I need your help to install this,,,
preferably step by step

Why not just buy a $10 card reader and your problem will be solved. You will find that card reader normally downloads much quicker than from camera to computer.
 
most of the time it's just plug in and go. you get a message on the camera screen? when you plug the usb in the camera and the laptop? if soo, is there any options?
