I would greatly appreictae any help!!!

I have all my settings on the minimum and my moniter/graphic refresh rate is 75Hz (max) which it is set at

I cant think off anything else. I HOPE YOU CAN HELP ME THANKS :D lee

The first and most effective step to increasing your FPS is to lower the settings. I see that you said you have everything on minimum, so what I would do is lower your resolution. What resolution are you running it in anyways? And 30-60fps isnt bad for framerates in CoD2. If you are expecting to run 60+ you would need a better video card.

You have a Dell so overclocking your CPU is out of the question. You can overclock your video card, however since it's a low-end card, it wont really do to much.

Cheers

thanks that helps quite a bit, ive just downloaded atitool 0.26 n am about to play that now, could you recommend a good graphics card for around a £100
thanks

ohh n im running 640x480!! (ps i downloaded my config for cod2 from here n it helped quite abit now running at about 50-70)

I would recommend a 7900GS. It may not be up there with the new DX10 cards but it can still play all the new games on medium to high settings with virtually no lag. If you wan't to spend a bit more, obviously go for the GT or GTX but in terms of value for money, I would say the GS is the best. That's just my opinion.

Edit: Or, if you want something a bit more future proof, maybe an 8600. I forgot about that.
