Help me pick my MBP specs!

I mean in the MBP. I think I'm going a 512 SSD with 16 gigs of RAM and calling it a day if I can!

Any last minute thoughts?
 
What the hell will you be doing that you need that much ram and that big of an SSD? Even AutoCAD doesn't need specs like that. :cool:

Not sure why you would need a 512GB SSD. I would advise to stay with the default options on the Apple store to save money.

If you need more storage space, you can always use an external hard drive or even a USB key (you can get 64GB ones for a good price these days).

Concerning the RAM, if you need more, you can upgrade later on and it will be cheaper. Unless you are talking about the Retina MBP, in which case you need to make sure you get enough RAM at the time of purchase. But I don't think you have been referring to the RMBP anyway...
