Help me please!!

Hi I'm keir,
I have a toshiba satellite laptop l500-1dt
A long while ago my laptop kept saying hardrive failure imminent
I have been trying to repair it with help off sites by entering command prompts on x:system32/exe
I enter sfc/scan now but that doesn't seem to work, I feel like I am close to cracking the problem I just need someone to help me! Any help much appreciated!!

Do yourself a favor and just get a new hard drive. Once you start getting the smart error you can't fix it.

Sorry about that mistype. Should have said favor and not failure. But like I said, there really is no way to fix it. All you can do is backup any important data and get a new drive, reinstall windows and then put your data back on the new install.
