I started a thread a few days ago, and ive gotten nothing so i will try again.
I have a Packard Bell M415, with 24MB of RAM which I am trying to upgrade. I have a Double-Sided 128MB PC66 piece I got out of an NEC which I am working on putting in. After installing it, the system boots, but in system properties, it only shows 32MB RAM. If there is anyone of you out there that can help me please do so. I also updated the BIOS recently.

System Specs:
PB M415
PB-810 Mobo
Pentuim I MMX 166mHz (can someone tell me how to overclock this?)
Windows 98 SE (OEM Version)
v1.25 BIOS

dude get a new computer I know its sad, to leave man kinds first computer but they probably dont even sell ur kind of ram anymore, also it probably wont even run windows 98. Build one its cheap.

U cant overclock a pentium 1 they suck! Just get a new one when did you buy that in 1970?

no offense but its 2006!

i really dont need your shit bud, im only 14 and im working on my first build. i happen to have 2 practically new computers.

Your motherboard only supports 32mb of ram. so it reads the 128MB as 32MB, kindof like my old PIII comp only supports 512MB even though I have 640MB in it. Calm down, and watch your language!

i didnt mean to give you a hard time, just trying to help sry if i sounded a little rude that was not my intent, plz keep the langauge clean towards me :)

im sorry man, im just frustrated. the computer has 2 dimm slots, but one seems not to work all the time.
